We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer as we do not meet the thresholds requiring one under Article 37 GDPR.
When you submit the feedback form on our website, we collect:
Providing this data is entirely voluntary. You are not required to give your email address to submit feedback.
When you open the feedback form from within the QueryLight application, the app includes diagnostic context in the URL to help us investigate issues. This may include:
This information is shown to you on the feedback page before you submit. It is stored alongside your feedback message and used solely to diagnose issues. No database contents or personal files are ever transmitted.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically collects limited technical data when you visit the website, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This data is used solely for security, abuse prevention, and maintaining the service.
When you purchase a license, payment is processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the data necessary to complete the transaction (name, email, payment details, billing address). We receive your email address and license key from Paddle. We do not store payment card details. Paddle's privacy policy is available at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
The QueryLight application does not collect or transmit any personal data during normal use. It does not phone home, does not include analytics or telemetry, and does not transmit any information about your databases or usage. All data stays on your machine.
The only exception is the feedback form described above: if you choose to send feedback from within the app, it opens the feedback page in your browser with diagnostic context in the URL. This only happens when you explicitly initiate it.
